The Jaguar Primary School Challenge is a STEM competition that involves designing and manufacturing the fastest car possible within a set of rules, following the design and engineering processes employed by real engineering companies like Jaguar Land Rover. Primary 7 pupils researched, designed and created model racing cars, learning about aerodynamic forces, efficiency, mathematics and the principles of design. They produced design portfolios, presented to the judges and raced their vehicles on 11th February 2020.Three teams were then selected to go through to the Regional Finals at Linlithgow Academy and will compete against other cluster Primary 7 classes. One team will then go to the National Finals in England in June.
