Nursery Activities

Some snowy day ideas for indoors -

• Create simple jigsaws by cutting up old Christmas cards
• Create Christmas decorations by gluing together strips of wrapping or coloured paper.
• Bake and decorate Christmas biscuits using Christmas shape cutters.
• Turn a large cardboard box into an imaginary boat or space ship.
• Make puppets out of recycling materials and have a puppet show.

Snowy day ideas for outside -

• Enjoy a winter walk, talk about the changes that snow brings, look at different footprints, use sticks to draw in the snow, make a snow creature.
